🏢 About Us
The CCS team provides client-side construction consultancy services across a wide range of disciplines, delivering projects of varying size, value, and complexity. From strategic employment sites and highway improvements to school refurbishments, public realm enhancements, and flood defence works – our work is as varied as it is impactful.

We operate a blended approach, working with both internal and external design teams and construction partners, guided by the RIBA project lifecycle. Our team includes professionals accredited by APM, RICS, CIOB, CIAT, RIBA, CIBSE, MIOSH, IHE, and more.

🔍 About the Role
We’re looking for a Building Surveyor to support our expanding capitalised maintenance and repairs programme, as well as a growing portfolio of building refurbishments, extensions, and condition surveys.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct building condition surveys and assessments
Prepare specifications, schedules of work, and cost estimates
Manage maintenance, refurbishment, and construction projects
Ensure compliance with building regulations and health & safety standards
Provide technical advice to stakeholders and contractors
Prepare reports, drawings, and contract documentation
Monitor budgets, quality, and contractor performance
Support asset management and lifecycle planning
This is a career graded role, with responsibilities tailored to your qualifications and experience.

🎓 What You’ll Need
Depending on your grade, you’ll need:

Grade 9: HNC (Level 4) or equivalent in a relevant subject, or Chartered with industry experience
Grade 10: HNC (Level 4) or equivalent, or Chartered with significant professional experience
Grade 11: HND (Level 5) or equivalent, or Chartered with substantial professional experience
Grade 12: Degree (Level 6) or equivalent, or Chartered with expert professional experience
You’ll also need access to your own transport to travel across the County.
