Are you ready to lead a dynamic team and help shape the future of leisure services in Seaham? We’re looking for a motivated and customer-focused Duty Manager to join our team at Seaham Leisure Centre.
🔍 About the Role
As Duty Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the venue, ensuring a safe, efficient, and high-quality experience for all users. You’ll support the Operations Manager in driving performance, maximising income, and fostering a positive, “can do” culture aligned with our Thrive values.
You’ll also act as a physical activity advocate, encouraging and supporting customers to lead healthier lifestyles.
💼 Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations and ensure excellent customer service
Lead and motivate staff to deliver high standards
Support income generation and operational efficiency
Promote health and wellbeing through physical activity
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards
🎓 What We’re Looking For
You’ll need:
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant area
First Aid Qualification
Pool Plant Qualification (or willingness to work towards if applicable)
Significant experience in a wet-side sport/leisure environment
Proven supervisory experience
Strong communication skills and a solid understanding of the Sport and Leisure industry
