Our client, a trusted partner of the UK Ministry of Defence, is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to manage non-conformance issues. You will ensure fault analysis during manufacturing and implement corrective actions to mitigate identified issues. Working closely with manufacturing teams and other departments, you will facilitate Non-conformance Management and provide guidance on Quality Engineering issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee non-conformance management within Manufacturing functions.
- Administer non-conformities and containment activities.
- Utilise data analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Implement and verify corrective actions.
- Facilitate problem-solving activities and determine root causes.
- Support the transfer of new products into manufacturing.
- Manage customer concerns and interface with various stakeholders.
What You Need:
- HNC/HND in a relevant subject or equivalent work experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.
- Experience in mechanical missile design and broader engineering disciplines.
Security Clearance:
British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship.
Successful candidates will undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS).
