Role Overview
Responsible for delivering individual or multiple building services projects, ensuring they are completed within allocated budgets and defined timeframes.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare specifications and briefs in consultation with internal teams.
Tender works in line with procurement policies and submit quotations for client approval.
Manage project budgets, appoint consultants and contractors, and oversee works to completion.
Attend client meetings, ensuring alignment and approvals throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and company standard operating procedures.
Organize out-of-hours or weekend work as required, ensuring subcontractors comply with site security and permit-to-work systems.
Manage projects from design input, tendering, installation, commissioning, and practical completion to handover and invoicing.
Maintain quality control systems and ensure accurate record-keeping for audits.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, contractors, and suppliers.
Lead health and safety compliance (CDM) throughout project execution.
Candidate Profile
Skills and Experience
Extensive experience in a similar role, with operational and technical expertise.
Electrical or technical qualifications, or an apprenticeship in a relevant engineering discipline.
Proven track record of successful project management within building services.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and safe working practices.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise at all levels.
Ability to motivate teams and manage resources effectively in dynamic environments.
IT proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office applications.
Desirable Attributes
Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or GMP environments.
Comprehensive understanding of CDM regulations.
