Regional SHEQ Manager – North West
Salary: £48k DOE + Car allowance
Location: Bromborough, Widnes, or Manchester – which ever is suitable for you!
Overview:
The SHEQ Manager (North West) will lead and drive a culture of health, safety, and environmental protection across the region. Reporting to the SHEQ Manager UK, you will ensure compliance with SHEQ policies and drive strategic safety initiatives within the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic SHEQ plans to meet business needs and ensure excellent health, safety, and environmental performance.
Lead, support, and coach the SHEQ team and collaborate with operational leaders.
Conduct audits, ensure safety policies are implemented, and investigate incidents.
Produce monthly/quarterly SHEQ reports and ensure compliance with legislation and internal standards.
Drive innovation and best practices in SHEQ and share lessons across the business.
Qualifications/Experience:
NEBOSH General Certificate (NEBOSH Diploma or working towards is a plus).
WAMITAB Level 4 in Waste Management preferred.
Experience in health & safety leadership in multi-location, operational businesses.
Knowledge of ISO standards and SHEQ KPIs.
Strong communication, decision-making, and leadership skills.
Additional:
Full UK driving license required.
Experience in waste management is a bonus.
Financially literate and proficient with Microsoft Office.
