The main responsibility for an AOG Coordinator is to support our client’s worldwide managed and subcontracted fleet of aircraft 24/7/365 in order to return the aircraft to an airworthy condition as safely & efficiently as possible.

 

Key Responsibilities

Arrange AOG support from OEM and maintenance providers worldwide to support the Group and subcontracted Group aircraft.

Use of Computer Aided Maintenance Program (CAMP) and Computerised Maintenance Program (CMP) for defect reporting and work order generation for AOG & Non Grounding Defects.

Understand regulatory and company policies in order to ensure aircraft maintenance has been carried out correctly.

Assist with the management, control and tracking of Tech Log page defects, Hold Item List (Deferred Defects) and Cabin Defect Log entires.

Perform workpack review and ensure ‘live CRS/RTS’ data entry is performed accurately. Complete archiving and ensure the maintenance tracking tool (CAMP, CMP) and respective work order is up to date at the time of CRS/RTS.

Support the Technical Service Engineers with line maintenance tasks as required.

Review Certificate of Release to Service documentation during out of hours to support the Technical Service Engineers.

A variation of shift patterns will be required, including coverage of other team members, with coverage for the operation 24/7/365. 3

Person Specification JOB TITLE: Aircraft on Ground (AOG) Coordinator

LOCATION: Home or Duxford, Cambridgeshire

RESPONSIBLE TO: AOG Team Leader Essential Desirable Qualifications • Recognised Apprenticeship, training scheme, Aeronautical Degree, or equivalent experience • Part M familiarisation training • EWIS, FTS, SMS, and HF Training Experience • Practical hands on aircraft maintenance experience • Maintenance planning • Part 145 experience • AOG support engineer • Maintrol experience Knowledge • Part M and Part 145 • OTAR and IOMAR ANO regulations • Use of Minimum Equipment List • EASA Part M Subpart g Skills • Attention to detail and organisation skills • Ability to be analytically correct and a problem solver • Proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office packages • Develop and maintain relationships internally and externally. • Ability to learn fast, with a keen, positive attitude Competencies • Ability to work under pressure • Prioritising workload • Ability to meet deadlines Other • Flexibility under rapidly changing circumstances • Strong team working skills • Additional language skill

 

Salary: £36,750

Shift premium: The team receive shift premiums for night shifts, weekend shifts and bank holidays. This averages out at approximately £400 per person per month.

Overtime opportunities are also available for holiday cover at x1.5 – this equates to approx. £7k per person p.a.

Location: home-based but must be within 2 hours of Duxford, Cambs

28 day shift rota consisting of day shifts (9am-9pm) and night shifts (9pm-9am). It works out as follows:

4 days off

 

Pension: contributory pension via salary sacrifice (5% employer and minimum 4% employee)

DIS benefit: 4 x base salary

Private medical insurance: individual cover

Holiday: 25 days per annum with additional days for events such as birthday, house move, wedding and on reaching 5/10 years’ service.
