These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the FTG Online Job Fairs website, including the posting of job advertisements by partners and the uploading of CVs by candidates.

By accessing or using this website, creating an account, posting a job, or uploading a CV, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the website.


1. Definitions and interpretation

In these Terms and Conditions:

  • “FTG”, “we”, “us” or “our” means Forces Transition Group Limited, trading as FTG Online Job Fairs.

  • “Website” means https://ftgjobfairs.com and any associated subdomains.

  • “Advertiser” means any employer, organisation or partner authorised by FTG to post job vacancies on the Website.

  • “Candidate” means any individual who creates an account and uploads a CV or applies for a role via the Website.

  • “Job Listing” means a vacancy submitted by an Advertiser for publication on the Website.

  • “Content” means all information, text, documents, images and data submitted to the Website, including Job Listings and CVs.

References to legislation are to that legislation as amended or replaced from time to time. Words in the singular include the plural and vice versa.


2. About FTG Online Job Fairs

The Website is operated by Forces Transition Group Limited (Company Number 14646797), trading as FTG Online Job Fairs.

FTG operates an online jobs board using the WP Job Manager plugin on a WordPress website. Job Listings are provided by paid partners and exhibitors. CV uploading is available to members of the public.


3. Application of these Terms

3.1 These Terms apply to all users of the Website, including Advertisers and Candidates.

3.2 Additional terms may apply to specific services, partnership agreements or event participation. Where there is a conflict, those additional terms take precedence.

3.3 We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Website after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.


4. Account creation and approval

4.1 All users must create an account to post a Job Listing or upload a CV.

4.2 No Job Listing or CV will be published or made visible until it has been reviewed and approved by an FTG administrator.

4.3 Approval is not guaranteed and may take up to 72 hours during peak periods. Expedited review may be requested by emailing studio@f4group.com, but approval remains at FTG’s discretion.


SECTION A: TERMS FOR ADVERTISERS

5. Job Listings and approval

5.1 Job Listings are available as part of partnership or exhibitor packages. One-off job listing packages may be available but are not standard.

5.2 All Job Listings are subject to manual review before publication. FTG conducts a pre-flight check to confirm:

  • the Advertiser is a paid partner or authorised user, and

  • the content does not appear inappropriate, unlawful or offensive.

5.3 FTG does not proofread or verify the accuracy, legality or suitability of Job Listings. Responsibility for all content rests solely with the Advertiser.

5.4 Any edits made by an Advertiser after submission must be re-approved before going live.

5.5 Only FTG administrators may:

  • publish a Job Listing,

  • extend its duration, or

  • re-activate an expired listing.


6. Advertiser obligations

The Advertiser warrants that:

  • all information in a Job Listing is accurate, lawful and not misleading;

  • the Job Listing does not discriminate unlawfully under the Equality Act 2010;

  • the Job Listing does not infringe any intellectual property or third-party rights;

  • it has authority to recruit for the role advertised;

  • it will use Candidate data solely for genuine recruitment purposes.

Advertisers must not:

  • harvest or scrape CV data,

  • share Candidate data outside their organisation without a lawful basis,

  • use Candidate data for marketing or unrelated purposes,

  • allow recruitment agencies to access CVs unless expressly authorised.


7. Candidate data access

7.1 CVs uploaded to the Website may be searched, filtered and viewed by paid FTG partners and Advertisers using the Website’s recruitment tools. Access is provided solely for the purpose of identifying potential candidates for genuine employment opportunities.

7.2 FTG may, at the request of its partners, share CVs with other Forces Transition Group partners where candidates match specific criteria. Such sharing is carried out in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

7.3 Advertisers act as independent data controllers in respect of Candidate data they access and are responsible for complying with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

7.4 FTG does not control, influence or verify how Advertisers assess, shortlist or contact Candidates as a result of CV searches. Advertisers are solely responsible for ensuring that their use of Candidate data obtained through search results complies with applicable data protection and employment laws.


8. Removal and suspension

FTG reserves the right, without liability, to:

  • remove or amend any Job Listing,

  • suspend or terminate Advertiser accounts,

  • refuse publication of content,

where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached or where required by law or regulatory guidance.


SECTION B: TERMS FOR CANDIDATES

9. CV uploads and responsibility

9.1 Candidates are responsible for the accuracy, completeness and lawfulness of all information included in their CV and profile.

9.2 Candidates must not upload:

  • false or misleading information,

  • content they do not have the right to share,

  • sensitive personal data unless strictly necessary.

9.3 By uploading a CV, Candidates acknowledge that it will be made available to paid Advertisers and FTG partners in accordance with these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

9.4 By uploading a CV, Candidates acknowledge and agree that their CV may be actively searched and reviewed by authorised Advertisers and FTG partners, and not solely accessed in response to a job application.


10. Data protection and security

10.1 FTG processes personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018.

10.2 We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data stored on our systems, including CVs.

10.3 The Website is hosted in the UK using IONOS infrastructure and operates via WordPress, Divi and the WP Job Manager plugin.

10.4 While we take reasonable steps to safeguard data, no online system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. By using the Website, Candidates acknowledge and accept this risk.

10.5 FTG does not accept responsibility for unauthorised access or data breaches where it has complied with its legal obligations and taken appropriate security measures.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes FTG’s liability where such limitation or exclusion is not permitted by law.


11. Candidate conduct

Candidates must not:

  • misuse the platform,

  • submit speculative or bulk applications,

  • attempt to access data they are not authorised to view,

  • upload malicious code or files.

FTG may suspend or terminate accounts where misuse is identified.


SECTION C: GENERAL TERMS

12. Payments and refunds

12.1 Payment terms for partnerships, packages or one-off listings are agreed separately.

12.2 Where a job listing package has been purchased independently, refunds may be requested before a Job Listing goes live. No refunds are available once a Job Listing has been approved and published.

12.3 Job listings provided as part of a partnership benefit are non-refundable.


13. Limitation of liability

13.1 FTG does not guarantee:

  • the performance of Job Listings,

  • response levels,

  • suitability of Candidates,

  • successful recruitment outcomes.

13.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, FTG is not liable for:

  • loss of profits, business or goodwill,

  • indirect or consequential loss,

  • actions or omissions of Advertisers or Candidates.

13.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.


14. Intellectual property

All intellectual property rights in the Website and its content, excluding user-submitted Content, belong to FTG or its licensors. No rights are granted except as necessary to use the Website.


15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with English law, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.


16. Severance

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.


17. Third party rights

These Terms do not create any rights enforceable by third parties under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
