Electrician – £43,000 Basic salary, Plus Additional earnings through call out and overtime

Our team has an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as an Electrician where you’ll be working around the Portsmouth, Petersfield, Bordon, Guildford areas.

You’ll play a key role in delivering responsive and emergency electrical repairs across the South region. Typical tasks include replacing damaged accessories, fault diagnosis, partial rewires, and distribution board upgrades.

Participation in the on-call rota is required approximately once every six weeks, running Thursday to Thursday. With the option to cover additional on call if weeks if wanted. This includes a standby allowance plus additional payment for each completed call-out, on top of your basic salary.

Overtime is available at standard rate Monday-Friday, time and a half for Saturdays and double time on Sundays.

It’s essential that you hold the most up to date 18th Edition qualification and Level 3/AM2, and an experience of NICEIC certification or similar software equivalent. You will also be required to hold a full driving license.

We’ll provide you with your uniform, a van fitted with a van vault, racking and inverter, a fuel card, company tablet & mobile as well as the PPE you need to let you crack on with what you do best. You’ll be expected to supply your own hand tools and power tools.

Tools are insured against theft once registered on our system. We offer the option to purchase tools and pay them back direct form your salary if required. We supply 2 x new batteries per year for your chosen tool brand. Not only this, you’ll be entitled to all the usual benefits from day one including 28 days holiday + bank holidays, the option to buy or sell 5 days holiday per year.
