CareerForces is supporting a major construction programme in Plymouth and is seeking experienced Construction Project Managers, Section Engineers, and Site Engineers to support the successful delivery of complex civil and infrastructure works.
These are contract opportunities offering strong day rates, lodging support, and the chance to work on high-profile UK projects.
Roles Available
Construction Project Manager
Section Engineer
Site Engineer
Key Responsibilities (role dependent)
Delivery of construction works to programme, budget, and quality standards
Management of site activities, subcontractors, and engineering teams
Implementation of health, safety, and environmental standards
Coordination with clients, designers, and stakeholders
Accurate setting out, QA documentation, and reporting
Driving efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement on site
Essential UK Qualifications & Certifications
Applicants should hold a combination of the following (role dependent):
Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
CSCS Card (Gold or Black preferred for management roles)
SMSTS (Project Managers / Section Engineers)
SSSTS (Site Engineers where applicable)
First Aid at Work (desirable)
Temporary Works Supervisor / Coordinator (advantageous)
Strong working knowledge of UK CDM Regulations
Proven experience on UK construction or civil engineering projects
