What we do
At Nova Care Group, we provide safe, consistent and personalised care for children and young people up to the age of 25.
We specialise in supporting those who have experienced significant trauma and exploitation, including involvement in criminal or gang activity – helping them find a different path through the right support for them.
Our small, dedicated support teams deliver 24/7 care alongside mentoring and coaching to rebuild trust, stability and routine. Our goal is to empower young people with the confidence and skills they need to succeed into adulthood.
Who we’re looking for
A career in care might not be what you expected, but it could be exactly where you belong.
If you’ve coached, mentored, or supported others, you may already have what it takes to be a Support Worker.
We’re looking for resilient and adaptable people who can stay calm under pressure, follow procedures and make responsible decisions -even in challenging situations.
Most importantly, we want people who understand how powerful it is for a young person to know that someone genuinely cares and are ready to be that person for them.
What you get in return
A competitive starting salary of £32,000, with uplifts taking your earning potential to over £40,000
Fully funded industry-recognised qualifications, including NVQs and management credentials, plus paid study days
Clear, flexible progression pathways shaped around your career goals
Comprehensive and expert learning and development support guiding you from day one through to long-term career growth
Enhanced annual leave that increases with length of service
Generous reward schemes, including a £1,000 employee referral bonus, peer-nominated awards and rewards for ideas that make a difference
Paid sick leave and a company pension scheme
Employee story:
After eight years in the military, T transitioned into Close Protection work. During this time, they also became involved in caring for two foster children and saw the powerful impact of consistent and supportive care. Motivated to make a lasting difference, they moved into the care sector as a Support Worker 4 years ago.
Bringing resilience, adaptability and a genuine passion for supporting young people, T quickly progressed into Senior Support Worker and Team Manager roles. Alongside this, they completed NVQ Level 4 Children, Young People and Families Practitioner and went on to become a Regional Manager. Since joining Nova Care Group, they’ve established new teams, developed existing services and are now working towards their NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare.
