24 months fixed-term contract
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor or a skilled electrical tradesperson looking to progress into first-line management. This role offers the opportunity to lead a Hard Facilities Management team delivering essential services in support of UK Armed Forces operations.
Your Role
Lead and coordinate the M&E team, subcontractors, and project managers.
Authorise and oversee electrical works, ensuring compliance with JSP 375 and MOD regulations.
Problem-solve and expedite urgent jobs where material availability is limited.
Support the M&E Facilities Management Operations Manager with inspections, audits, and Helpdesk repairs.
Undertake training for Authorised Person (Electrical) and CompEx EX01–EX04 qualifications.
What You’ll Bring
Essential
Completed craft apprenticeship or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
City & Guilds Electrical Installation (18th Edition), inspection, testing, design, and verification.
NVQ Level 3 or higher / HNC / HND in Electrical Engineering.
NEBOSH General Certificate or SMSTS.
Experience with LV systems (ring & radial circuits, UPS, generators, standby systems).
Knowledge of hazardous area systems, fixed wiring installations, and building services.
Full UK driving licence.
Demonstrable supervisory experience in electrical maintenance or facilities management.
Desirable
MOD Authorised Person certification in Electrical Systems.
Knowledge of Fire Alarm and UPS systems.
Experience working in remote or overseas environments.
