Site Engineer Plymouth – from £300 per day + £50 lodging DOE
(net £1080 per week / £56,181 p.a. (via Umbrella – PAYE – Employed).
45 Hours per week 07:30hrs – 17:00hrs
Purpose of The Role
Our client is currently delivering the redevelopment project at a Royal Navy site located in Plymouth and we are seeking a Site Engineer.
Due to the sensitive nature of the site, BPSS security clearance is required. Please note that this process can take up to 8 weeks. Further SC security clearance will be required which can take another 4 weeks. Eligibility criteria: Many positions within the project are subject to national security clearance restrictions. This means that your eligibility for certain roles may be affected by your place of birth, nationality, current or former citizenship, and any residency you hold or have held.
Key Tasks and Accountabilities. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
· •Assist in the preparation of as-built drawings.
· •Assist in establishing effective systems to record work completed updating the Project Quality Plan accordingly.
· •Participate in developing quality check sheets and carrying quality checks & surveys.
· •Assisting with site safety, environmental & quality inspections
· •To assist in managing systems to enable the progress of work to be reviewed against time, quality, dimensions, and quantity.

Person Specification
· Qualifications – Civil Engineering / construction related Qualification (HNC, BSc, MSc, BEng, MEng)
· May be working towards Chartership/Incorporation with IStructE, ICE or other professional body.
· Familiar in Leica Survey equipment (GPS, Total Station, etc) for Setting Out & Survey
· Experience in reinforced concrete structures using system formwork is essential.
· Awareness of commercial processes.
· Familiar with Quality Management System and familiar in writing RAMS.
· Proven people and project management skills.
· Team leader with organisational skills. Good standard of IT skills
· Flexible to working weekends and out of hours (on a rota basis to suit project requirements)
· Supervisor HSE test
· SSSTS / CSCS Card – White PQP/AQP or Red Trainee or Red Provisional
