As a Degree Apprentice Building Services Design Engineer, you will learn the principles of building services engineering whilst supporting project delivery. You will draw and scale plans, research and review building data, learn to write specifications, and develop skills in computer aided design (CAD). As your experience develops, you will work towards leading on elements of project delivery.

Training and Qualification
You will study at Teesside University on the BEng (Hons) Building Services Engineering (Degree Apprenticeship), working towards the Building Services Engineer Level 6 standard. The degree is accredited by CIBSE, meeting the educational requirements for Incorporated Engineer (IEng) and partly meeting those for Chartered Engineer (CEng).
What will I need?
You must have GCSE English at grade 4 or above (or equivalent) and have or expect to achieve Level 3 qualifications meeting 96 UCAS points one of which must be Mathematics or an equivalent, also good communication and ICT skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
