Our client, a trusted partner of the UK’s Ministry of Defence, is seeking a seasoned Manufacturing Bid Lead. You will lead bid initiatives, ensuring clear scope definition and alignment with industrial policy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead manufacturing bids with clear scope and alignment.
- Generate cost bases using Excel and create competitive bids using PowerPoint.
- Develop strong relationships with stakeholders and provide market intelligence.
- Ensure manufacturing is a key stakeholder throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support the New Business Team in identifying opportunities and developing strategies.
- Continuously improve manufacturing processes and ensure cost accuracy.
What Do You Need:
- Understanding of the manufacturing production process.
- Expertise in cost models for manufacturing expenses.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in applying lessons learned for continuous improvement.
