PFQ Course Summary

The Project Management for Service Leavers with APM PFQ course has been created exclusively for HM Armed Forces Service Personnel who are in their resettlement and looking to transition from the Military into a project management role in civvy street.

In this course, we will teach you civilian project management tools and techniques, aligned to APM best practice, whilst also helping you to draw upon your military project experience and understand the differences in language used. We deliver this course with a keen eye for the practical application of project artifacts, from building a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), to assessing risks and engaging stakeholders, all of which will help you plan your resettlement

Following the in-person APM PFQ course, learners receive 30 days of FREE access to the APM Accredited eLearning course “Delivering Successful Projects with Microsoft Planner.” (Saving you £99+VAT) This online course helps you put project management theory into practice using one of the most widely adopted tools in the modern workplace.

The course reinforces the key principles from the APM PFQ course while training you how to use Microsoft Planner to effectively schedule and manage projects. It will also show you how Planner Copilot uses AI to increase efficiency through natural language prompts.
