Meet Ria
Hello there! I’m Ria, I served 12 years in the Royal Air Force and I’m 5 years out, still trying to navigate the unforgiving territory and minefields known as ‘civvy street’ and ‘parenthood’!
I founded The V Word as an outlet and a mission to share the innermost workings of my dark and twisted mind (I feel I should insert a pre-emptive apology right about here.. Soz!). Also in the hope of creating a platform for our hidden community, veterans with vajayjays, to start talking. Â Â
​Women have been serving in the military for over 100 years, lets’s take heed of our ancestors set fire to our bras, and make some noise! (Not the expensive ones though and please do ensure that all health and safety precautions are utilised!)
