Rheinmetall Electronics UK Ltd (REUK) was established as RFEL Ltd in 1999 and has been part of the Rheinmetall Group since 2009. The company provides a broad range of mission ready technology, products and systems to government, defence and homeland security markets. REUK has four key business lines: 
Mission Systems, Simulation and Training, Ground-based Air Defence, and Digitalisation.

REUK provide a broad range of mission ready technology, products and systems to government, defence and homeland security markets. Within the Mission Systems business line, REUK specialises in exploiting world-leading capability in high-performance signal and video processing both within the UK and for export customers. REUK’s flagship product in this area, Trailblazer is a best-in-class diver vision system delivering advanced situational awareness for military platforms. In addition to significant export success, REUK is actively supporting major British Army modernisation programmes, including Boxer MIV, Challenger 3 MBT and MLRS, while also providing critical safety enhancements to the enduring Warrior IFV fleet.

REUK’s next-generation head-mounted augmented reality display technology, ACE-AR addresses challenges associated with delivering 360-degree situational awareness in confined, space-limited vehicle cabins. ACE-AR maintains familiar standard operating procedures and provides a direct view of critical functional safety equipment. At the same time, it intuitively expands the user’s situation awareness by additionally delivering extra visual information feeds, including tactical and synthetic information as well as multiple indirect vision camera views.  

Another component of the Mission Systems portfolio is Skyblazer, providing continuous, passive, wide area surveillance in the long-wave infrared and visible bands with high-performance threat detection and tracking. Skyblazer addresses a multitude of Short-Range Air Defence (SHORAD) applications, including Counter Unmanned Air Systems (C-UAS) and Counter Small Aerial Targets (C-SAT), suitable for a wide range of installations, including vehicles, fixed infrastructure, mast mounted and dismounted.

REUK is part of the Omnia Training partnership, currently bidding into the UK Army Collective Training Transformation Programme. Omnia Training is ready and able to deliver a step change in UK Army training through the integration of live, virtual and constructive environments, enhanced training support systems and innovative delivery services in a way that has never been achieved before. Drawing on the combined expertise of its partners, the team aims to provide technology-enabled training solutions that are globally deployable, adaptable and fundamentally data driven.
